| The emulator uses it's own usb cable and the interface has it's cable. If you use the DLP-IO-8 interface to monitor the wideband sensors or other things, it has it's own cable too. In the software, I put the ability to access multiple ports in order to do this. If you are only controlling the emulator (tuning) you do not need to have the interface cable connected. You will need the interface connected if you want to use the map traceing function (to be added later) while tuning with the emulator. If you want, you can control the emulator and do tuning with Nissan Data Voice and do monitoring of the diagnostic sensors with other software at the same time. You cannot connect to the emulator with two different software at the same time because you will get a port in use error when trying to use the second software.
